Manchester City vs Chelsea Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

This is the evening kick off in the Premier League and by the time it begins, Manchester City could be 12 points behind league leaders Liverpool. They are down to fourth and host Chelsea who are a point and a place above them. City have already lost three league games this season and can't afford to lose many more if they want to win a third straight Premier League title. The loss to Liverpool in the lead up to the international break has left them nine points behind the league leaders. They will be hoping that Liverpool don't win at Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon but their main task is to get a home win against Chelsea. City have only lost one home league game this season, a 2-0 defeat by Wolves. All their other home league matches have been won bar a 2-2 draw with Tottenham.

Chelsea are third in the table but a form guide for the last five league games has them top with a maximum 15 points. The Londoners have won their last six league matches, scoring 15 goals but the opposition hasn't been the cream of the Premier League crop. Away form began with that 4-0 loss at Old Trafford but since then they have won five in a row scoring 18 goals. However, eight have been conceded and up against the might of Manchester City's forwards, a clean sheet (something they haven't managed in their last six league games and only one of the last 15) is unlikely to be kept. They do keep scoring though and City's defence isn't as supreme as it was last season. Go for both teams to score in this game.
