La Galaxy and Orlando City meet at the Dignity Health Sports Park for this match in the MLS. The home team are in fifth position with six points in the Western Conference while the visitors are in eighth position with four points in the Eastern Conference. LA Galaxy had their perfect record ended in the last match when they were beaten 3-2 by Seattle Sounders. They will be glad to be back home as they have one their only other home game this season. LA Galaxy have won their previous two home matches against Orlando City and both the matches were high scoring affairs with a total of 13 goals scored in the two matches. LA Galaxy have only lost one match in the last four encounters with Orlando City with that loss coming back in 2017.

Orlando City will be looking to bounce back in this match after suffering their first defeat of the season in the last match. A worrying aspect for them will be that their results have regressed as they started with a win in the first match then had a draw and eventually a defeat. Orlando City will need to improve their away form in the league because stretching back to last season they have only won 2 of their last 13 away league matches.
