The season seems to have been going on forever for Celtic. Their Champions League campaign began on July 10 but ended a month later. Their early season form in the Scottish Premiership was a struggle too with a couple of early defeats and falling several points behind Hearts. Form has picked up though and that was shown on Thursday when they breathed life into their Europa League group with a win over Leipzig. They have won their last six league games and now only trail Hearts by a point with a game in hand. The goals are flowing too with 20 in the last four and 11 in the last two on the road. 

Livingston are eight out of 12 in this league but have already amassed 18 points. They have won five, drawn three and lost three and are a healthy 14 points above the relegation places. It's a good performance for a side that were in the Championship last season. One of their losses was in their first league game as they lost 3-1 away to Celtic. They went on an unbeaten run of eight games after that defeat but have lost their last two league games to St Johnstone and Hamilton, the latter being tenth in the table. Not great preparation for a home game against an in-form Celtic. Go for an away win with Celtic leading at both half and full time.
