Only goal difference is keeping Liverpool off the top of the Premier League. They look to extend their unbeaten league run with a home win over seventh placed Wolverhampton Wanderers. The Premier League champions had a good midweek as they clinched their place in the last sixteen of the Champions League. Liverpool haven't lost a league match since that disastrous night at Aston Villa. Home form has played a part in this unbeaten run and Liverpool go into this game, having won all five league games at Anfield. They have three home league matches this month, avoiding deeat in those will be the third year in a row they have gone unbeaten at home in the Premier League. At present, their unbeaten run at Anfield is at the 64 game mark with only Burnley getting a point off them in the last 31. That 1-1 draw last season is the only one in the last 14 at Anfield that Liverpool haven't scored at least twice.

Wolves are in seventh place but a win at Anfield will take them to within a point of Liverpool. Their most recent game ended in a 2-1 win at Arsenal, despite losing top striker Raul Jimenez to injury. He won't be aking the trip to Anfield this weekend. Wolves had a bad patch in October with three straight league defeats. Since then, they have bounced back with a run of one loss (away at Leicester) in six league games. Three of their last five away league fixtures have been won but they lost 4-0 at West Ham and Manchester City put three past them in September. Liverpool can be backed to get yet another home league win. A side bet on both teams to score is an idea as that's happened in six of the last seven Liverpool home league games.
