Liverpool won again at the weekend and have now won all seven of their Premier League games this season. The defending European champions have some work to do in this group though after losing their opening game 1-0 at Napoli. They host Red Bull Salzburg who top the group after thumping Genk 6-2 at home in their first game. Genk are likely to be the whipping boys in this group and this trip to Anfield is a lot harder of course. Liverpool haven't a competitive home game for a year and that was when playing a weakened side against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup. In the Champions League, they have gone 14 home games without a loss, last being defeated by Real Madrid in 2014. The last five have all been won without a goal being conceded. Not bad when the list of teams played includes Napoli and Barcelona.

Red Bull Salzburg are top of the Austrian league with a five point lead and no defeats after nine games. They have been scoring goals aplenty with a positive goal difference of +31 in that league and six goals in their opening group game against Genk. The past three seasons have seen them go unbeaten in away Champions League matches but all were qualifying games. Last season they made it to the last sixteen of the Europa League but their last two away games saw defeats at both Club Brugge and Napoli. Go for Liverpool to get the win here and lead at both half and full time.
