Liverpool have made a great start to their Premier League campaign with five wins out of five. They slipped down to second in the table behind Chelsea on goal difference but still have their best chance in years of winning the title. Now they turn their attention to the Champions League and are in a tough group with PSG, Napoli and Red Star Belgrade. Last season saw them reach the Champions League final and they went unbeaten at Anfield winning five, drawing two and scoring 24 goals and conceding six. Liverpool have only lost one home game since April 2017 and that was when playing a weakened team against West Bromwich Albion in the FA Cup, Salah isn't quite firing as he did last season but Firmino and Mane are and Liverpool have a good chance of reaching the knock-out stages again. Six of their last seven Champions League home games had over 2.5 goals scored in them and the same applies for ten of the last twelve.

PSG still haven't made the big breakthrough in this competition and their away form is usually to blame. Last season they lost away at Bayern Munich and Real Madrid and have lost three of the last five including that terrible 6-1 loss at Barcelona two seasons ago. This season has seen them also make a 100% start to their domestic league campaign with the goals flowing and on Friday they beat St Etienne 4-0 at home and noticeably didn't play Neymar or Mbappe. Their last nine league and cup games have all had over 2.5 goals scored in them and with their top two players almost certain to be back for this game, the tip is to go for over 2.5 goals in what should be a cracker of a game.
