It looked as if Liverpool were going to keep their second place in the Premier League but a late Manchester United goal on Monday took them down to third place again, Now they turn their attention to the Champions League but they won't be losing any sleep over this tie. Liverpool comfortably won the away tie 5-0 so there's virtually no chance of them not making it into the last eight of this competition. With such a big lead and a game against Manchester United at the weekend, Jurgen Klopp is bound to make several changes to his side but they still have plenty of depth in their squad that can give their Portuguese opponents another rough night. Porto wouldn't have expected to be going to Anfield needing five goals just to get level in the tie. It'll be interesting to see just how they approach this game, they can hardly expect to arrive in Liverpool and score the goals that will put them back in with a chance of making the last eight. More likely they will play a weakened side too and just accept they are out of the competition. They have scored 12 goals in their last three away games but have only won two of their last seven away Champions League games. Anfield has seen plenty of goals this season, go for over 3.5 goals in what should be an entertaining game.
