Liverpool vs Manchester City Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

This isn't a title decider, it's only November after all but a win for Liverpool would make them even stronger title favourites. They go into the weekend six points clear of second placed Manchester City. By the time this game begins, Leicester might be only five points behind the Reds but this game against Manchester City is vitally important for both sides. Liverpool only earned a single point against City last season. If they'd managed to win at home rather than draw or get a point at City, the Premier League title would have been won. Liverpool are unbeaten at home in 45 league games but clean sheets don't happen too often of late. All their five home league games this season have been won but both teams (even Norwich) got on the scoresheet. Liverpool have had to battle hard for their points in recent weeks. A late penalty against Leicester and then going behind against Manchester United, Spurs and Aston Villa. Despite all those problems they stil earned ten points out of 12.

Manchester City dare not go nine points behind Liverpool, even in November.  They have had some great results this season but some uncharacterisitic losses too. Their fans still wonder how City lost 3-2 at Norwich and 2-0 at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers. There were more scares at the weekend when trailing Southampton before winning the match. City haven't done well at Liverpool in the past with no recent league wins. They have a strong away record though (apart from in Norfolk) and could easily win this to close the gap to three points. Do that and it's anyone's title (perhaps even Leicester's!). A draw wouldn't be a bad result for them this weekend, just don't go nine points behind. A bet on both teams to score looks one that can win for us.
