Liverpool remain eight points clear at the top of the Premier League. They will be confident of getting another league win when hosting 12th placed Brighton and Hove Albion. Midweek saw them have to come from behind to get a point against Napoli in the Champions League. Back in domestic football though, they have some highly impressive statistics to protect. Liverpool are unbeaten in the Premier League this season with only Manchester United taking points off them. They are without defeat in their last 30 league games and the last 46 at home in the Premier League. Liverpool have won the last 13 and those are stats that should make any Brighton fan concerned about this weekend. 

Brighton are 22 points behind Liverpool but only four points off fifth place. The problem is that they are only five points above the relegation zone and that gap could narrow in the coming weeks.
