Lille Osc vs Valencia Prediction & Betting Tips - Champions League

Valencia are in second place after two games of Champions League Group H. They have three points leaving them three behind group leaders Ajax and three above bottom placed Lille. With Ajax having won both of their games, Valencia look to be in a battle with third-placed Chelsea for the second automatic qualifying place in this group. They won 1-0 at Stamford Bridge, a result which could prove handy if the two sides end up level on points. Their second game saw them lose 3-0 at home to Ajax but Lille, home and away looks like providing them with some points. Valencia are seventh in La Liga but that's only six points behind league leaders Barcelona. They only have that loss to the Dutch champions in their last seven games in all competitions. Away form is useful too with the last three games seeing wins at Chelsea and Athletic Bilbao and a draw at Atletico Madrid. In this competition, they have just one win in six away matches but have had some tough games against Juventus, Manchester United and Chelsea only conceding in one of the last four played.

Lille are already in deep trouble in this group. Two games have been played and they have both been lost. An away 3-0 defeat at Ajax was followed by a 2-1 home defeat by Chelsea. With trips to both Valencia and Chelsea to come, another defeat here would leave them bottom and probably unlikely to even finish third and go into the Europa League. Lille are sixth in Ligue 1 and a couple of points behind the final Champions League qualifying place. They have lost three of their first ten league matches, so that's five in all this season. Lille come into this game having no wins in their last four matches and lost at Toulouse on Saturday. Home form is shaky too with no wins in their last two. This looks a good opportunity for Valencia to get an away victory.
