Lille Osc vs PSG Prediction & Betting Tips - Ligue 1

This is a massive game at the top of Ligue 1. Lille begin the weekend top of the table and a point above their opponents, second placed PSG.  By the time this game begins on Sunday, Lyon might have overtaken Lille, they'll go top if winning at Nice on Saturday. Lille continued their good form with a 2-0 away win at Dijon, though the second goal didn't come untili the 90th minute. That extended their unbeaten league run to five games with each of the last three won. A win over PSG wouldn't just see them end the weekend in top position, but give them a four point lead over PSG. Lille are yet to lose a home league game this season. Six out of eight have been won with just four goals conceded. The last three have all been won and eight goals scored in the process. Lille have scored at least twice in five of their last six home league fixtures. Despite that, half of their home games have had under 2.5 goals scored in them. This is their toughest task of the season though.

PSG also won on Wednesday evening beating Lorient 2-0 at home. It took them until the 56th minute to break the deadlock against the side with the worst away record in Ligue 1. They needed t that win after losing at home to Lyon last weekend. Now they can go top of the league if they can win away at Lille.  PSG have played seven away games in Ligue 1 this season. Five have been won but there have ben losses at both Lens and Monaco. The latter was unforgivable after leading 2-0 after 51 minutes. They have managed to score 17 goals in their seven away league fixtures and conceded just five. Take away the Monaco defeat and that’s just two conceded in the other five with 15 goals scored with at least two goals scored in each of their last six on the road in Ligue 1. They have lost four league games this season (one more than in the whole of last season), so the period of total domination they have had in recent years has faded a little bit. A bet on both teams scoring looks the safest for a win in this game.
