Ligue 1 takes the spotlight in France this weekend after cup competitions ruled the roost over the last fortnight. Champions and current leaders Paris Saint-Germain travel to Lille in the hope that they can end the weekend 11 points clear of Marseille. The hosts of this encounter are fifth in the table, one point off Europa League qualification and five off the last Champions League place. It's been a frustrating season for Les Dogues fans, their home and away form being as different as night and day. Lille have lost their last two league matches, both being away from home. They have picked up five points from ten games on the road, which is relegation form. This is especially bizarre when considering the fact that they have the best home form in the top flight. Not even the mighty PSG can match Lille's home record. Lille are outstanding at The Stade Pierre-Mauroy. PSG don't need to be told this - they lost there 5-1 last season.

While Juan Bernat's red card goes some way towards explaining that strange scoreline, PSG must be wary. They have been shocked a few times in this campaign already, losing three matches, two of which were away from home. Not that painting a picture of a vulnerable PSG is exactly accurate. Thomas Tuchel's team are unbeaten in 16 matches and they have the best away record in the division. They average 2.3 goals per game away from home and will be confident that they can get the job done here. While it's risky to back against the top dogs of Ligue 1, we think there's enough evidence here to justify a Lille bet. Back the home side double chance.
