Lille have a chance to open a six-point gap at the top of Ligue 1 when they host Montpellier on Friday. Montpellier are six points below the UEFA Conference League places and will have to handle this game better than they did the 3-3 draw with Marseille last time out. While they have two prolific forwards in Andy Delport and Gaetan Laborde, they haven’t realized the full benefit of the duo’s combined 23 goals because of a leaky defence.
