Lille are second in Ligue 1 but 17 points behind league leaders PSG. Their main task therefore is to secure the runners-up spot and they are now seven points clear of Lyon in third. Lile are unbeaten in their last nine league games last losing against Toulouse three days before last Christmas. Home form is strong with nine league wins this season and the only home league loss was that Toulouse defeat. Their defending is impressive too with only nine home league goals conceded this season.
Monaco have had a disappointing season but have managed to get themselves out of the relegation zone since the departure of Thierry Henry. They are undefeated in their last six league games with three wins and three draws. Monaco haven't won in their last five away league games but have drawn three of the last four. They may have showed some improvement of late but Lille are in good form and can get the home win here.
