Both of these clubs lost their opening game in this Champions League group. While Lille were probably expected to lose to Ajax, it was a surprise that Chelsea lost at home to Valencia. Chelsea in particular will be wanting to get a win from this game with their next match being an away trip to Ajax. They have won two games in the past week with a 7-1 thrashing of Grimsby Town in the Carabao Cup followed by Premier League success at home to Brighton and Hove Albion. Away form has seen them score eight goals in their last two games with league wins at Norwich City and Wolverhampton Wanderers. Their young side lacks experience in European competition but they should be able to get something from this trip to France.

Lille are fourth in Ligue 1 but have only won one of their last four games. Their opening game in this group saw them lose 3-0 away at Ajax but that is their only loss in the last five league and cup games. Home form has seen them win their last four league matches, scoring at least twice in each game. This is their first time in the Champions League since 2014 and have no wins in their last five home games. Chelsea have shown decent form in their last two games and they have some in-form strikers, go for Chelsea to get the win here.
