Three games remain in the Ligue 1 as Lille is still trying to secure second place in the table. They take on Bordeaux who lie in 14th place, still not fully safe from relegation. If Caen fail to win their next three games though, they will be secured in Ligue 1 for next season. It has been a very disappointing season for Bordeaux, who used to be one of the French giants. They have scored half the amount of goals Lille had, a total of 33. Francois, their number 1 goal scorer, has scored 10 in all competitions this season. Bordeaux however were 1-0 winners when Lille travelled to Bordeaux last. They were also 2-1 winners before that, Lille has failed to win against them since 2016. Will this finally be their chance? Bordeaux are in a very poor run, losing their past four games, letting in nine goals. Lille are undefeated in their past five, even beating PSG 5-1 and Nimes 5-0. They will be hard to stop at this stage of the season. They will surely be securing second place in Ligue 1.
