For the second time in three games, Barcelona had the chance to go top of La Liga standings, but failed, when they drew 0-0 with Atletico Madrid. They will be hoping everything works in their favour for the remaining three rounds. Next up for the Catalans is a trip to Valencia where they will face Levante on Match Day 36. Barcelona are second in the standings with 75 points, while their hosts, Levante are 13th with 39 points. Levante managed to stop a four-game losing streak in their last outing, which ended in a 2-2 draw at Deportivo Alaves. While they are nine points above the drop zone, Levante aren’t safe yet; they need one more point. They’ve failed to score in three of their last four matches and have managed just four wins in the last 18 league outings. Heading to the game, they’ve lost each of the last three at home.

Barcelona have dropped eight points in their last six matches and this has really dented their title chase. The losses to Real Madrid, Granada and most recently the 0-0 draw with Atletico Madrid mean at the end of the weekend, they may find themselves third. With three games to go, Barcelona won’t be very pleased with how they’ve performed in these past few weeks. They have one clean sheet in the last six matches and five of the six have produced over 2.5 goals. While they have been prolific in attack, scoring 11 goals in the last five matches, Barcelona have also leaked badly at the back, letting in eight goals in the five matches. But they will be glad to play away from home after dropping points in the last two home matches. The Catalans have two straight away wins and have won 11 of the last 12 in the league. In nine of their last 10 league matches, Barcelona have scored two or more goals.
