Lens and Reims are in the search for stability and will be gunning for three points when they meet in Ligue 1 this Friday. After 28 rounds in the league, hosts Lens are ninth and Reims 16th. Let’s have a look at the prediction of this match.

Lens stepped up their chase for a place in Europe last time out, beating struggling Saint-Etienne 1-0. That marked a third win in four matches, and Lens can afford to look at the upcoming game with some optimism.

In their last two home matches also, Lens posted back-to-back wins but have just six victories at home all season in the league.

Reims, on their part, dropped into the relegation mix after a home loss to the superb Strasbourg. It ended 1-0. That result halted their earlier three-match winning run in all competitions.

It was also the fourth time in five matches that they failed to score in league action. Their away form is even more worrying. Les Rouges et Blancs have failed to win any of the last seven away league matches and also failed to score in them.
