Leicester City will open their Europa League campaign with a home game against Italian side Napoli in Group C. The two sides are coming off big matches in their respective leagues and had mixed results. Leicester City were 1-0 losers at home to Manchester City and will be keen to avoid a second straight loss. They’ve lost two in the last five matches already, but they’ve scored in four of their last five matches, only that they’ve scored more than a goal in just one of the five. This is the second time in Leicester’s history that they get to the group stage of this competition but their numbers in Europa League aren’t the best. They have one win in the last five matches and have failed to score in three of the last four matches in the competition. At home though, they have three wins in four in the competition, with three clean sheets.

Napoli on their part, head to this game straight from a morale boosting win over Juventus, and they’ve been scoring well too. In their opening three matches they’ve managed two goals in each and are currently joint top in Serie A. In competitive action, Napoli are unbeaten in 12 matches and they take to this game a run of four wins in their last seven matches. They have lost just once in those seven matches but away from home they haven’t done really well in their recent matches, winning just two of six on their travels, and losing three. The Italian side has managed just one clean sheet in the last six away matches in Europa League. Last season, just like Leicester, Napoli were eliminated at the Round of 32 stage, after losing 3-2 on aggregate to Spanish side Granada.
