Manchester City's season has rather changed in the past few days. A home loss to Crystal Palace suddenly sees them four points behind Liverpool and the two teams meet next week, so they can't afford to drop points at Leicester City. City haven't lost two straight league games since December 2016 and the second of those defeats just happened to be away at Leicester City. With the recent loss to Chelsea, City have lost two of their last three league games but had gone 14 away league games before that defeat at Stamford Bridge. Pep Guardiola's team have a few injury problems at present and it's possible Sergio Aguero may start after coming on as a sub at the weekend and playing in the recent Carabao Cup penalties win over Leicester.

The home side had been slipping down the table in recent weeks and there's pressure on boss Claude Puel. His team rallied well on Saturday beating Chelsea 1-0 away with a goal from Jamie Vardy. That took them to ninth in the table only four points off the top six. They are still battling for consistency though and their last nine league and cup games have resulted in wins over 90 minutes with only six goals scored. Only one of their last five home league games has been won and that was over another inconsistent team Watford. Manchester City will be fired up for this and can get a welcome away win.
