It's been a massive week for Liverpool who were crowned world champions at the weekend. The Premier League leaders return home and travel to second placed Leicester City. The gap at the top remains ten points to City but now the Reds have a game in hand. A win at the King Power will strengthen even further their hopes of winning the Premier League to add to their world and european titles. While Liverpool were playing Flamengo, Leicester were in action at the Etihad and saw their title hopes hit with a 3-1 defeat and that was after taking the lead. That's just one point from their last two games after the draw with Norwich the previous weekend. City have lost three league games this season to both the Manchester clubs and Liverpool, perhaps up against top teams, they aren't quite such a force.

Liverpool have won seven of their last eigth away league games. The only blemish on a 100% record was a 1-1 draw at Manchester United. They are unbeaten in their last 34 league games since an early January loss to Manchester City 29 of those 34 games have been won and they have won 25 of the last 26, an incredible record. Liverpool will have had a few days to get over the trip back to Qatar and most likely a quiet Christmas Day too. Leicester will give it their all but Liverpool look that little bit better. Go for an away win in this game.
