Leicester had a bad start against City but recovered just in time to force the champions to a draw at the break before wrapping up the business in the second half, rising to seventh on the log. Cardiff have picked four points from a possible 15 in the last five league matches. Cardiff have no away win in the season; out of the nine matches they have played away from home, they have only managed two points, from a possible 27. Leicester beat Cardiff 1 – 0 in the first leg meeting between the two sides this season and will be eyeing a double here; the two sides have met 36 times and each has won 15.
