Leeds United know now that all they have to do is win their last five league games and that's it, they are finally back in the Premier League. A win at Preston on Tuesday took them back into second place in the Championship and stayed there when the following night, Sheffield United failed to win at Birmingham City. Leeds have won three of their last five league games but lost at home to Sheffield United and away at Birmingham last weekend. Home form is still good though with four wins from the last five at Elland Road. Three of their last five games are at home and if it goes down to the last day, they travel to Ipswich who should be relegated by then.

Sheffield Wednesday won at home against Nottingham Forest on Tuesday to keep their slim promotion hopes alive. They are 10th in the table and only five points behind the promotion play-off positions. It's a tight division and sometimes a draw is almost as bad as a loss. Wednesday have drawn four of their last five away games and that's 14 for the season. Just three of those draws turned into wins would have them in the promotion play-offs. Leeds have momentum again after the midweek win and can get three invaluable points from this game.
