Leeds United’s season has so far not gone to plan, and this is one thing they will be looking to address on Match Day 2 of the Premier League as they host Fulham. Both sides had losing starts to the 2020/21 campaign; Leeds losing 4-3 to Liverpool as Fulham lost 3-0 at home to Arsenal. The two sides were involved in the Carabao Cup in midweek too. The team was completely outplayed at home to Arsenal and had a really shocking defensive display. Facing a side that scored three at Anfield will not be easy for the visitors, with the match coming just three months after suffering a 3-0 loss to the same opponents. However, with a seven – match unbeaten run when playing away from home, they will feel confident enough heading to Yorkshire. The last team to beat Fulham away from home was Leeds United and this remains their only loss in 12 away matches, but five of those ended in draws and they have scored in 10. Last season, playing in the Championship, Fulham registered 10 wins in 23 away league matches but notably, they finished the season unbeaten in six away matches, and their win over Ipswich in the Carabao Cup points to a better side when playing away from home.
