Leeds United aren’t in a very good position as far as the survival fight is concerned. They will be at home to take on in-form Brighton in their second-last game of the season, and they need a win. Leeds United go into this game placed 18th with 34 points while Brighton are ninth with 47 points. Winless in the last four matches and coming into this game with three straight defeats, injuries and suspensions are making it look like the world is conspiring against Leeds United. They will be without Luke Ayling and Daniel James who were sent off in the last two games. These two join the injured Patrick Bamford, Stuart Dallas and Adam Forshaw, while Raphinha and Jack Harrison left the field seemingly injured in the 3-0 loss to Chelsea on Wednesday. Leeds have scored one goal in the last four matches, and have conceded two or more in the last three games. Seven losses at home in the last 10 matches isn’t good enough for a team trying to survive, and that’s where Leeds find themselves.

Brighton are enjoying their best season in the Premier League and will be viewing this as a game they can bag three points from. They can’t get to the European slots but can rise to an eighth placed finish. Going into this game, they will be pumped up after the 4-0 win over Manchester United in the last game, their second straight clean sheet after a 3-0 win away to Wolverhampton Wanderers. In their last three matches, Brighton have scored two or more goals in each, and they have just one loss in the last seven matches. They’ve beaten Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United in their last six matches and on paper, this one looks like an easier outing. Three wins in the last four away league matches should also build their confidence going into this game.
