Lazio had a good break with a 3-1 win over Inter Milan in the Italian Serie A and they will be looking to continue with the celebration when they host French side Marseille in Group E of the Europa League. Lazio are second in the group with three points while Marseille, still in search of a first win, have two points in third place. The win over Inter was Lazio’s third in five matches and they will be hoping for some stability going forward. Marseille aren't going to this game on a very strong run, though they did win their last game – a 4-1 victory over Lorient. In 2018, they met Lazio in the Europa League and the Italian side won both home and away encounters. Since 2018, Marseille haven’t taken part in this competition until this season, and they don’t have a very good record ahead of this game.
