Anderlecht have made a poor start to the new Belgian Jupiler League. They look to put that aside for a night as they go to Laci in the third qualifying round of the Europa Conference League. The winners of this tie take on either Vitesse or Dundalk in the play-off round. Anderlecht are one from bottom in the Jupiler League after a defeat and draw in their opening two matches. Their point came in the most recent match at Eupen where they took the lead but then saw the home side get level just before half time. Anderlecht are in their first European campaign since 2018/19 when playing in the group stages of the Europa League and have far more European experience than their opponents.

Laci are enjoying their best season in European competition. Before this season they had never managed to make it past the second qualifying round of the Europa League. Now in the Europa Conference League, the Albanian side have had wins over Podgorica and Universitatea Craiova. Against Podgorica, they lost the away leg 1-0, forced extra time in the second leg with a 1-0 win and then added two more in extra time. Their second qualifying round tie was another tight affair. They won the home first leg 1-0 and then drew 0-0 in Romania. They have played 14 games in Europe and before this season had only won one game. Up against stronger opposition in Anderlecht it's going to be tough for them. Back the Belgians to get the win.
