Arsenal began life under Unai Emery with defeats by Manchester City and Arsenal but it's all gone right for them since. The Gunners have won their next five Premier League games, a Carabao Cup tie and their first game in this group. The standard of opposition hasn't been too high and much harder tasks lie ahead for them. They started off this group with a 4-2 home win over Vorskla Poltava, a flattering result for the away team who scored two late goals. Their last seven games have seen Arsenal score 19 goals and there should be more scored in this game too. Arsenal lost two of their seven away games in this competition last season, one to the eventual winners Atletico Madrid.

Qarabag lost their opening game in this group losing 2-0 away at Sporting Lisbon. That's two defeats in three Europa League games this season after losing the first leg in the play-off round before beating Sheriff 3-0 at home. Four of their last five games in this competition have ended in defeat but only Fiorentina have won here in their last five home matches. They will be familiar to English fans because they were in the same Champions League group as Chelsea last season losing 6-0 away and 4-0 at home. Qarabag started the season in the Champions League playing three qualifying rounds before losing to BATE but only won two out of six games. Currently they are second in the Azerbaijan league behind the league leaders on goal difference and unbeaten in six games. This is far tougher though and even with a weakend side playing, Arsenal can get the win.
