Two games into this group and Juventus who reached the final last season lie third in their Champions League group. With Barcelona already dominating the group and Olympiakos having lost both their opening games, it's the two games between Juventus and Sporting that should decide who comes second in the group and qualify for the knock-out stages. Juventus started the group with a 3-0 loss at Barcelona and then defeated Olympiakos 2-0 with both goals coming in the second half. Juventus are third in Serie A five points behind leaders Napoli and they lost 2-1 at home to Lazio despite taking a first half lead ending a run of 41 home league games without defeat stretching back to 2015. In the Champions League they have only been beaten by Real Madrid and Barcelona in their last 22 home games. Sporting are second in the Portuguese league and been held to draws in their last two games. One was against leaders Porto but the other a more disappointing draw with Moreirense who are one from bottom. So far in the Champions League this season they have had a 3-2 win in Greece though the home side didn't score their goals until the dying moments of the game and then lost at home to Barcelona 1-0 through a Coates own goal. They have only won two of their last 12 away games in this competition so back Juventus to get the home win.
