A break from the Serie A at this point in time will be very welcome for Juventus, after a 10th draw in 16 matches. La Vecchia Signora will be taking on Cagliari in the Coppa Italia last 16. Below we have the preview and prediction.

Juventus will be at home for the fourth straight outing and will want to improve on their only win in the first three. Apart from their 2-0 win against Manchester City, Juventus played to two 2-2 draws in the other two games.

The most recent was against Lecce, when Dusan Vlahovic’s stoppage time penalty goal saved them, in a 2-2 draw with Venezia.

Cagliari didn’t have a similar break, falling 1-0 to Atalanta for their eighth league loss. After taking on Fiorentina and Atalanta in their last two matches, Cagliari have another tough opponent coming up. 

Rossoblu haven't beaten Juventus in the last seven meetings, but the last two ended in draws, which gives them some hope. The two sides’ most recent meeting was at Juventus, with Rzvan Marin grabbing a late goal to end it 1-1. 

That was the fifth time in this fixture that Cagliari managed to score. They will be keen on keeping that run going.
