Jack Draper begins Wimbledon as the 28th seed and the British number one. He takes on qualifier Elias Ymer in the first round. For the winner, there's a second round match against either Facundo Diaz Acosta or Britain's Cameron Norrie.
World number 28 Jack Draper is seeded at Wimbledon for the first time in his career. He's up two places to a new career-high of 26th in the live rankings. In the ATP Race, he's in 27th position.
He recently won his first grass court tournament with success in Stuttgart's BOSS Open. The week after that he defeated Carlos Alcaraz but lost to Tommy Paul in the Queen's Club quarter-final.
He hasn't got the easiest of draws with both Alexander Zverev and Eastbourne winner Taylor Fritz possible opponents. Draper is making only his third appearance in this tournament, his best being getting to round two in 2022.
Elias Ymer is down at 205th in the latest ranking list and had to qualify to get into this main draw. He won his three matches and only dropped one set. That took him up to 195th in the live rankings, still 90 spots below his 2018 career-high.
The qualifying rounds was his only grass court tournament played before this Grand Slam. He's lost in the qualifying rounds five times in his last six visits. This is his third time in round one and he's never won a main draw match here.
