Hull vs Blackburn Prediction & Betting Tips - Championship

Hull City have had a mixed start to the new season with a win, draw and defeat in their first three games in the Championship. They are 11th in the table with four points but that's only three points behind league leaders Leeds United.  It's also three points above the relegation zone so their new few games will tell us more about in which direction their season is likely to go. Hull started their season with a 2-1 loss at Swansea City. They went 1-0 up after just three minutes but two goals in a minute in the second half doomed them to defeat.  Their first home league game of the season saw them defeat Reading 2-1 with both goals coming in the first 16 minutes. They couldn't follow up that win though, only being able to draw 1-1 at Brentford after again taking the lead. Hull's new season seems to be following a familiar pattern. Last season they won 11 home league games but only six on their travels. Only Sheffield United (who went on to win promotion of course) have won away at Hull in the last 15 home league games.

Blackburn Rovers finished 15th in the Championship last season, two points and a couple of places behind Hull City. They haven't made a confident start to the season and are 18th in the table with three points from their first three matches. Both of their first two league games ended in defeat. Blackburn started off with a 2-1 home loss to Charlton and then lost 2-0 away at Fulham. They finally earned some points when beating Middlesbrough 1-0 at home thanks to a 24th minute penalty. That win ended a run of four league games without a win. On their travels, Blackburn have only won three of their last 23 away games in the Championship with 12 away league defeats last season. A bet on a Hull City home win is the suggested tip for this game.
