Bayern Munich have had another successful week with victories in the Bundesliga and Champions League. They lead the Bundesliga by one point and travel to Hoffenheim who are eighth in the table. Bayern are unbeaten in their last 12 competitive matches. After a slow start to the season, Bayern have earned 25 points from their last ten league matches to climb to the summit. Midweek saw them all but clinch a place in the quarter finals of the Champions League with a 3-0 win at Chelsea.  The goals have certainly been flowing with 14 in their last four away games in the Bundesliga.

Hoffenheim are only two points behind the final Europa League place. They come into this game having no wins in their last three Bundesliga games and have already lost nine league fixtures. It was nearly three straight league defeats but they grabbed a last minute equalizer at Borussia Monchengladbach in their last league match. Hoffenheim met Bayern recently in the German Cup, losing 4-3 away from home. They led early on, went 4-1 down but scored two late goals to make the score look a bit more respectable. Earlier in the season though, they did win 2-1 at Bayern Munich but the league leaders have made massive improvement since then. Hoffenheim have only won two of their last seven home Bundesliga matches with 17 goals conceded. There should be a few more this weekend, go for Bayern to win and to be ahead at both half and full time.
