Hoffenheim vs Borussia Dortmund Prediction & Betting Tips - Bundesliga

Both of these clubs have made a good start to the new Bundesliga season. Hoffenheim are sixth and only behind fifth placed Dortmund on goal difference. No club has a 100% record after the first three games and this pair trail leaders RB Leipzig by just two points. Hoffenheim began the new season with an exciting 3-2 win at FC Koln. They led 1-0 and 2-1 but needed a 92nd minute winner to get the three points. Up next came a home game against champions of Germany and Europe, Bayern Munich. They caused a massive shock in that match, winning it 4-1. A third win looked possible when Andrej Kramaric gave them an early lead at Eintracht Frankfurt. That was his eighth goal in four league and cup games this season, including a hat-trick at Koln. Hoffenheim couldn’t hold onto that lead though and lost 2-1. Home form for Hoffenheim has win four and lose five of the last nine in the Bundesliga. They did beat Dortmund 2-1 at home last December, that man Kramaric getting the winner. One interesting fact is that only one of the last 24 home league games and none of the last 11 have ended in a draw.

Borussia Dortmund tried to get the title off Bayern Munich last season but faded towards the end. At least they have managed to hold onto their top players, well for now anyways. Their new season got off to a confident start with a 3-0 home win over Borussia Monchengladbach, with two coming from Haaland. Their unbeaten run didn’t last long as they lost 2-0 at Augsburg (currently second in the table). They got back into winning ways though with a 4-0 home thumping of Freiburg with another two from Haaland. Just before that, they’d lost in the Super Cup to Bayern Munich, just the one for Haaland on that occasion. Away form had seen them win six league games in a row before the loss to Augsburg. They need to recapture that form if wanting to challenge for the title. A bet on both teams scoring in this game is the suggested wager.
