The Bundesliga comes down to its final set of fixtures and there are still Champions League places up for grabs. Hoffeneheim start the game in fourth place on 52 points ahead of Bayer Leverkusen on goal difference and only two clear of Leipzig. A win in this game might not even be enough to confirm their Champions League place if Leverkusen can also gain a victory and overcome the three goal difference that currently exists as they face 13th placed Hannover. Hoffenheim could climb up to third place though if they can get a two-goal win over Borussia Dortmund who currently fill that spot. They come into this match off the back of a 2-0 defeat at Stuttgart last weekend ending a nine-game unbeaten league run. Home form is impressive though with ten wins and only champions Bayern Munich have recorded more. Their last four home league games have all produced wins with 14 goals being scored.

Borussia Dortmund have had a mixed season with early exits in both European competitions and failing to produce a title challenge. They are third in the table on 55 points and could yet fail to qualify for the Champions League if losing heavily here and Leverkusen get a big win. They aren't in the best of form at present with only one win in their last four league matches but that win was a 4-0 home drubbing of Leverkusen that could prove to be the result that gets them into the Champions League next season. Away form is poor at present with only two points from their last four league games. This isn't going to be your usual drab last day game of the season with plenty at stake and the tip is for Hoffenheim to get the valuable home win.
