Muhammed Gumuskaya’s second half goal gave Fenerbahce a 1-0 lead in the first leg of their Europa League play-off tie against Helsinki, and they will be looking to hold on when they head to Finland for the return leg. Helsinki recovered from that loss with a 1-0 win of their own at Lahti and will be counting on their impressive run at home going to the clash. Despite trailing in this tie, Helsinki have a fine run – four wins in five and four clean sheets as well. They were eliminated from the Champions League earlier and will be hoping to salvage this as they eye a place at the group stages of the Europa League.
