Grigor Dimitrov vs Cameron Norrie Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Indian Wells

It's not just Emma Raducanu who can be British and reach major tennis finals. Cameron Norrie has made it to the Indian Wells semi-final, where he faces Grigor Dimitrov. Norrie is the 21st seed and that makes him the highest remaining seed in the men's singles. His opponent is seeded two places below him and the winner of this faces either Taylor Fritz or Nikoloz Basilashvili in the final. Norrie started this tournament as the world number 26 (he began the year 71st) but is up to 20th in the live rankings and a win here can see him go up to 17th. His run to this semi-final has already seen him overtake Dan Evans as the British number one. Norrie has already won one title this year and is bidding to reach his second successive final. Making it to the final would be his fifth of the year. This tournament has seen him defeat Tennys Sandgren, 15th seeded Roberto Bautista Agut and Tommy Paul, each match going to three sets. It was a lot easier in his quarter final as he beat 11th seeded Diego Schwartzmann for the loss of just two games.

Grigor Dimitrov is the world number 28 but four years ago was ranked third. He began this year ranked 19th and made a good start to the year as he reached the quarter finals of the Australian Open. He's been regularly beaten in the last 32 or 16 of tournaments since then but returned to form in San Diego where he reached the semi-finals, losing to Casper Ruud (who beat Norrie in the final). He'had wins over Daniel Altmaier and 16th seeded Reilly Opelka before knocking out top seeded Daniil Medvedev after losing the first set. His quarter final saw Dimitrov again have to come from behind as he beat eighth seeded Hubert Hurkacz. There has been one previous meeting between the pair. Norrie beat Dimitrov 7-5 7-5 in Miami this year. Another close match is possible here, go for Norrie to make the final.
