Gremio have lost a bit of pace in the Brazilian Serie A in recent weeks after their earlier promise. They will hope to regain that when they host struggling Fortaleza next. We have a prediction for this match below.
In all fairness, Tricolor dos Pampas have had a tough run of matches lately. In the last four matches they’ve faced Corinthians, Vasco da Gama, Cruzeiro, and Palmeiras, winning none.
They are coming from a 1-0 loss to title contenders Palmeiras, and earlier they had also lost to Cruzeiro. Collecting just two points from a possible 12 has left them three points off the Copa Sudamericana positions. They are also only two points above the relegation zone heading to this game.
