Granada are back in La Liga after winning promotion last season. They finished second in La Liga II last season and make their return after being relegated in the 2016/17 season. It was certainly an exciting affair in their opening league game. They went to Villarreal and returned with a point after a 4-4 draw trailing throughout the game. With 15 minutes remaining, they were 4-2 but pulled themselves back into the game with two late goals. That dramatic finished extended Granada's unbeaten run to 15 games. They have won 11 of their last 13 home games so this won't be easy for Sevilla.

The visitors had a good chance of qualifying for the Champions League but ended the season in sixth place. A run of four points from their last four games scuppered their hopes but they are in the Europa League this season. Preseason saw them win five out of seven friendlies. The only one they lost was 2-1 away to their opponents in this match. Sevilla got their season off to a winning start with a 2-0 victory at Espanyol. Goals in the 44th and 86th minutes earned them the points taking them to second in the first table of the season. It was a welcome win as Sevilla lost nine away league games last season. Granada conceding four goals in their opening game shows their defence may struggle this season. Go for Sevilla to make it two wins out of two with a win here.
