Atalanta begin their first ever campaign in the Champions League. They finished third in Serie A last season to clinch their place in Europe's top club competition. They have had a few campaigns in the Europa League reaching the last 32 in the 2017/18 season, that was their first European campaign in 28 years. Atalanta have been given a tough draw with Manchester City and Shakhtar Donetsk to come after this trip to Dinamo Zagreb. They have won two of their three Serie A games this season, the only loss being at home to Torino. Their last seven league games have seen over 2.5 goals scored in all but one of them.

Dinamo Zageb are in the group stages of the Champions League for the first time since the 2016/17 season. They will hope for a better result than that campaign as they lost all six of their matches. Last season saw them reach the last sixteen of the Europa League, losing to Benfica. Zagreb had to play three qualifying rounds this season to get to the group stage beating Rosenborg in the play-off round. They are unbeaten in their last eight home games in European competition and the suggested bet here is a double chance on Zagreb to win or draw this match.
