Dutch side PSV Eindhoven has a massive advantage going into the return leg of their second qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League against Turkish giants Galatasaray. In the first leg, PSV registered a 5-1 win at home, and heading to Turkey, they have one foot in the third round. By the time Eren Kilinc scored Galatasaray’s consolation, PSV were comfortably in the lead and the loss halted an eight-game winning run they had established. It was also the first loss for Galatasaray in 12 matches. In the last 15 matches, they’ve failed to score in just one game but they have no clean sheet in the last six matches. They have five wins in five home matches but both sides have scored in the last four, which have all seen over 2.5 goals.

PSV had a strong finish to last season and they will want to carry on that way going to this game. They started their new campaign with a big win in the first leg and going straight to the Super Cup game against Ajax means they can use this as a perfect warm up game. With a 12-match unbeaten run, PSV hope to do well in this clash and in six of their last 10 matches they have score two or more goals. They’ve failed to score completely in just one of their last 10 matches. These two sides have met six times before, and Galatasaray have managed just one win, with PSV winning all the remaining five. The Dutch side has won each of the last four meetings but their away run ahead of this game isn’t the best, with four wins only in the last 11.
