Fulham vs Manchester United Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League
by Daniel Ngulu | in Premier League Prediction
Manchester United held on to their top place in the league after drawing with Liverpool and now they have their third straight away match against struggling Fulham, with both sides looking to return to winning ways. Fulham are placed 18th in the standings, with 12 points while United have 37 points, at the summit. Fulham’s return to the top flight isn’t going so well, but credit to the club, in the recent matches they have tightened up defensively. In their last game, they did well defensively to frustrate Chelsea, even with a man down after Antonee Robinson’s sending off. The team still had great chances to take the lead against Chelsea and will be hoping they can do it at home against United. Fulham have conceded three goals in the last six matches, signaling the improvement in defence as compared to their form in the first half of the season. They have scored in six of their last 10 matches but haven’t scored more than a goal in seven of the last eight games. Fulham have just three wins in the last 15 matches while in the league, they have five draws and a loss in the last six. It remains to be seen how Robinson’s suspension will impact Fulham’s defence; in their last six matches, the West Londoners haven’t conceded more than one goal. However, they have failed to score in the last three home league games and out of nine this season, they have lost five.
Manchester United, on the other hand, will be boosted by their strong performance against Liverpool. They went to the game as underdogs but managed to curve the best chances of the game at Anfield. It took a number of great saves from the Liverpool keeper to deny United three points and in their third straight away matches, they will be looking at getting back to winning ways. Playing away from home seems to tick well with Manchester United, while they are unbeaten in 12 league matches, their run of 16 unbeaten away from home is really pushing the Red Devils. United have three straight clean sheets but failed to score in two of their last five matches, understandably against Liverpool and Manchester City. They have scored more than one goal in just one of the last six matches and six of their last eight matches have produced under 2.5 goals. United have failed to score in just four of their last 15 matches in the league. Out of their 16- match unbeaten run away in the league, 12 are wins.

Our Fulham vs Manchester United Prediction
Manchester United are clear favorites here, but they are set to meet a very tough to break Fulham side. Fulham have been improving defensively and have done well lately, though they haven’t been as good in attack. Manchester United have done well in attack in recent matches, though they don’t score a lot and with Fulham’s improving defensive performances, we are backing this to end in under 2.5 goals.
