A staggering 56 points separate these two teams in the English Premier League. Fulham look doomed to relegation as they only have Huddersfield Town below them and are 13 points from safety, virtually 14 because of their terrible goal difference. The home side are on their third manager of the season which is only one less than the number of league games they have won this season. Fulham have lost their last six league games conceding 15 goals. In each game they conceded at least two goals, something they have done in 24 league games this season. At Craven Cottage, Fulham have lost three of their last four games and lost the reverse fixture with Liverpool 2-0.

Liverpool return to Premier League action and can go top with a win here as Manchester City are on FA Cup duty this weekend. Wednesday saw them beat Bayern Munich in the Champions League and they'd be glad that game didn't go into extra-time. Liverpool are unbeaten in their last nine league games since that loss in January to Manchester City. Away from home, the Reds have drawn their last three games but visits to Manchester United, West Ham United and Everton are tougher than this weekend's assignment. Liverpool can win this game and lead at both half and full time.
