Fulham are in a great position to reach the Championship play-off final. Monday saw them win the first leg away at Cardiff City 2-0 so a place in the final against either Swansea City or Brentford is on the cards. Fulham finished fourth in the Championship, a place and eight points clear of the Welsh side. That gap was illustrated in the first leg with two second half goals giving Fulham their impressive lead. A 90th minute goal (one of several scored by Fulham in recent weeks) totally changed this tie. Fulham won 15 home league games in the main season, a figure only equalled by champions Leeds United. They are unbeaten in their last eight games, scoring eight goals in the last three. Six of those last eight have been won and another victory looks likely here. Fulham beat Cardiff 2-0 at home earlier this month and have five wins in their last six played at Craven Cottage.

Cardiff face an almighty task to get back into this semi-final. 1-0 wasn't too bad but 2-0 really puts their backs up against the wall. They had won three games in a row, scoring eight goals to clinch their place in the play-offs. Away form was terrible in the early part of the season with only one win and nine points from their first 12 on the road. Since then, form has improved greatly with seven wins out of 11 away from home. They will need to score at least twice of course to give themselves any hope of reaching Wembley. Fulham are in the better form though and have that recent win over the Welsh team. Go for a home win here.
