France vs Ireland Prediction & Betting Tips - International Friendlies

France have plenty of reasons to look forward to the World Cup next month and should go deep in the tournament. They continue their preparations with a home friendly against the Republic of Ireland who didn't make it to Russia. The French side didn't have it all their own way in qualifying for the finals but ended top of the group by four points, though are still having nightmares over that goalless draw at home to Luxembourg but won the other four home games. They have only one defeat in their last nine games, a home loss in a friendly to Colombia.  At home they  have three wins and that loss to Colombia in the last four friendlies with wins over Paraguay, England and Wales scorinig ten goals in that trio of wins.

Their opponents had a late flourish to get second place in their World Cup group but then lost heavily to Denmark in the play-offs. They have failed to win any of their last three games and lost away to Turkey in a March friendly. Away form in friendlies has been a bit of a nightmare for the Irish with no wins in their last ten with the last win being against Italy, a good result but it was in 2011. Their last seven away friendlies have only seen them score twice and this should be a comfortable home win for France with them leading at both half and full time.
