A clash of the Eredivise heavyweights is in store for us this weekend when Feyenoord play host to PSV on Sunday afternoon. The defending champions are currently in second place in the league standings, while the visitors are making it look easy at the top of the log. Feyenoord have done very little wrong domestically this season, yet they find themselves seven points behind their opponents after the first 13 games. It may still be early days, but this could be a crucial encounter in the title race, and the hosts will be well aware of it.

However, they now face their most difficult opponent to date, and if they can pull off another big win, it would certainly put them firmly in the driver's seat to reclaim the Eredivisie crown. Still, this is far from a foregone conclusion, and PSV will have to defy the odds here as they are the underdogs, according to the bookmakers.
