Feyenoord will be looking to stay at the summit of the Eredivisie when they play host to title challengers PSV on Sunday. Four points separate the two sides with hosts Feyenoord top on 42 points and PSV third with 38. Feyenoord stumbled in their last league match, drawing 1-1 with Twente and will hope to make up for that here. It was their second draw in three matches and the four points dropped mean they now have just a one-point lead. They are unbeaten in 10 matches, since the loss to Sturm Graz in the Europa League. In this game they face the only side to have beaten them this season and they will definitely want to avenge that 4-3 loss. In six of their last 10 matches, both teams have scored and the league leaders will want to work on that aspect about their defending. They have the second best defence in the league and this should be a good starting point. This season they are unbeaten in nine home matches in the league, winning six.

PSV recovered from their 1-0 loss to Emmen with a 2-0 win over Go Ahead Eagles and will be looking to beat Feyenoord and close the gap between the two. That win was their third in five matches but the second clean sheet in that run. In three of their last five matches, PSV have scored twice but their league run lately hasn’t been the best. They have two wins only in the last six matches and will need to be at their best if they want to complete a double over Feyenoord. PSV’s away run in the league has been particularly patchy; they haven't kept a clean sheet in the last four matches away from home in the league. The visitors have however failed to score in just one of the last five away matches. Both teams have scored in six of PSV’s nine away league matches this season.
