Ferencvarosi Budapest vs Slavia Prague Prediction & Betting Tips - Champions League

Czech Republic giants Slavia Prague got a bye to the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League and they will be facing off with Hungarian side Ferencvaros, who host the first leg. Ferencvaros go to this game having won all their four earlier matches in the qualifiers and while they eye a playoff spot, they will be looking to recover from a 2-1 home loss to Kisvarda. It may have been the first time in five matches that they’ve conceded more than a goal but they have just two clean sheets in the process. Ferencvaros have however scored in each of their last five matches and in four of them, they’ve managed two or more goals. It means four of their last five matches have produced over 2.5 goals and at home, they’ve also scored in each of their last five matches.

Slavia Prague had just one preseason friendly match and it ended in a 1-1 draw with Piast Gliwice but they’ve started their season on a high. In both their opening two league games, they’ve won and extended their unbeaten run to 14 matches. Their last defeat was at home to Arsenal in the Europa League last season. Slavia Prague have scored in each of their last 11 matches but they have just one clean sheet in their last five matches. They do not have a very good run in the Champions League, but will be looking forward to this game with hope, knowing that Ferencvaros are also not very strong in the competition. In their last eight Champions League matches, Slavia Prague have no win.
