Auger-Aliassime is playing his first tournament since being beaten in the US Open semi-finals by Jannik Sinner. The 25-year-old has won 25 of his 35 hard court matches played this year. He's reached at least the last eight in six ATP Tour hard court tournaments in 2025.
While he's yet to win a title, Auger-Aliassime was the runner-up in Dubai with two other semi-finals reached. He's 13th in the live rankings but tenth in the ATP Race, so could yet make it into the Tour Finals.

Recently the 28-year-old was a finalist in a hard court Challenger Tour event but then went one step further to win the ATP Chengdu title. He had to win seven matches to win that tournament.
