Both of these sides won promotion to the Belarus Premier League last season. Their first three games only produced three points with losses to Energetik and BATE Borisov. Since then, they have nine points from five matches with no losses. Home form has seen them win one, draw one and lose one with two goals scored and two conceded.

Smolevichi are already in deep relegation trouble. They have just three points from eight league games and five points from safety, The search is still on for their first league win of the season and the weekend saw them lost 5-3 at home to BATE Borisov. They led in that game after just a minute, went 3-1 down and fought their way back to 3-3 before conceding two late goals. That was their fifth league loss of the season and the goals scored by them, doubled the number scored in the last seven. Away from home, Smolevichi have drawn two and lost one with just three goals scored. Rukh Brest are the side in form and they can get a home win here.
